Light-emitting LEDs emit green wavelengths of light, and photosensitive sensors pick up light reflected off the skin of the arm and measure changes in the intensity of the light field and convert it into heart rate. The technology is currently used by Mio Alpha, Fitbox HXM and Adidas Smart Run heart rate monitors in the US. The green light photoelectric heart rate measurement completely abandoned the heart rate chest band, and can continuously measure the heart rate, calculate the average heart rate, record the maximum heart rate, set the heart rate alarm interval.
